I base my collections on clean lines, natural fabrics and hand craftsmanship. An inspired mixture of handwork and a modern aesthetic sensibility, my work is an attempt to overcome the contradiction between fashion and sustainability at its core. In a time when endless trend and mass produced fashion satiates the market and our wardrobes, my collections venture to satisfy the forward-thinking woman’s need for go-to clothing that she can depend on to be their most confident self. My clothing is wear-to-death-able, individual and meticulously created.
Born in Fargo, North Dakota, I studied art history at the University of Minnesota where I received a bachelor’s degree in 2008. After this I spent a year living in New York where I acquired a post-graduate fashion studies degree from Parsons the New School for Design in May 2009. My collections are based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota where I live and work. When not in my studio, I enjoy supporting and enjoying the local art community which inspires my collections.
